Suggested Items

Several sheets of watercolour paper at least A4 in size (preferably stretched).

Brushes: 1" flat, hake, rounds (sizes 12 and 6), rigger.

Palette (preferably the tray kind without wells, an old butcher's tray is ideal)

Tube paints. Suggested palette: French Ultramarine, Cobalt Blue, Venetian Red, Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna,
(Please note: not all these colours will be used in every painting, but this selection will cover most eventualities. Other colours such as Naples Yellow, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red, Crimson Alizarin, Prussian Blue and Paynes Grey will be useful on occasion)

Pencil (3B), putty rubber and kitchen roll.

Two water containers, the larger the better.

Photographs of your chosen subject if you do not wish to work from those I will provide.
(Please note that this will be a landscape workshop, beach or river views would be most suitable)
